Job Summary:
Oversee various projects to support the success of the Finance Department
· Lead the planning and implementation of accounting/Finance projects
· Develop long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
· Prepare and present the workflow of any projects as needed
· Act as a bridge between senior staff and the people who are responsible for the execution of the projects
· Serve as the point of contact on all Finance projects
· Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with a project
· Support Ad-hoc requests
· Partner with Senior Finance Dept staff to ensure adherence to plan/forecast financials
· Provide analysis support for leadership to drive and improve decision making
· Partner/collaborate with Finance team on various projects
· Act as a liaison between the Finance Department and any external departments and/or companies that are required to complete projects
· Perform regular quality control analysis on projects to ensure that all standards are met
· Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned
· Bachelor of Science or higher degree in accounting or finance
· 5 years of experience in the planning and implementation of accounting projects
· Experience in not-for-profit accounting preferrable
· Highly organized and detail-oriented
· High proficiency in Microsoft Office Software certification is preferable
· Good problem-solving and time management skills
· Ability to define projects’ scope, goals, deliverables, and tasks
· Ability to understand the flow of transactions
· Ability to work under pressure and multitask to meet deadlines
· Self-driven, proactive, and quick learner
· Continuous improvement of mindset and strong analytical skills
· Experience with Great Plains Dynamic helpful but not essential
· Strong analytical interpersonal skills
· Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees
Salary Range: $105,000.00 to $115,000.00
