Sketchy is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join the Marketing team!

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be an essential addition to our organization, leading the development and execution of marketing strategies that elevate our product portfolio's market presence and success. This role blends market analysis, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership.

Your key responsibility is to analyze market trends and customer behaviors, using these insights to position our products effectively in the marketplace. You'll focus on identifying unique selling points and differentiating our offerings in a competitive landscape. This includes crafting and executing marketing plans that not only align with our business goals but also highlight our products' distinct advantages to target audiences. Experience with executing digital marketing campaigns (performance marketing) is a plus.

Collaborating closely with product development, content, sales and marketing teams, you'll ensure that our products' messaging and positioning are consistent across all channels. Your strategic acumen in market positioning will be pivotal in guiding our marketing efforts, adapting to market shifts, and driving the overall success of our products and company.

Sketchy is hiring remote employees in these select US states: California and Colorado.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform product development and positioning strategies.
  • Develop compelling product messaging and positioning that differentiates our products in the market. Ensure consistency across various marketing channels.
  • Create and evolve customer personas and segmentations.
  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches, including identifying target customer segments and developing launch plans.
  • Work closely with product development and sales and marketing teams to align on product features, launch plans, and marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee and execute marketing campaigns across various digital channels. This involves setting up, monitoring, and optimizing campaigns to ensure they meet performance targets.
  • Allocate and manage the budget for marketing campaigns efficiently, ensuring optimal spend across channels to maximize returns.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on product marketing activities and results.
  • Drive data minded culture inside the company

What We’re Looking For:

  • BA or BS degree in a marketing, business, or related field. Quantitative backgrounds are a plus. 
  • 5 years of proven work experience in a product marketing role for a technology company, preferably in the digital direct to consumer space.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability; the ability to answer unstructured business questions and work independently to drive projects to conclusion.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capacity to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced skills with common tools including Looker, Powerpoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with mobile/native applications is a plus.
  • Ability to drive actionable insights (and clever solutions) from large data sets.
  • Must be self-directed, organized and detail oriented as well as have the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active team player, excellent communication skills, positive attitude and good work ethic.
  • Experience working alongside product and data science teams.
  • Experience working at a high-growth startup.

Salary Range

$130,000 - $150,000 annual
