Singer Industrial is Hiring a Director of Finance Near Dallas, TX

We do this with a robust line of fluid power, hose & fittings, belts, seals & gaskets, pneumatic and automation products and field services.
We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance for Shared Services to lead our conversion from a fragmented, decentralized model to a coordinated and centralized model of finance and accounting support. This role will be responsible for building, training and developing a team and migrating in a thoughtful tasks and responsibilities from multiple field operatives to a consolidated role. This role will be heavily focused on building relationships, training and project managing a smooth transition to a center of excellence in Dallas for finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance shared services team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement shared services strategies to streamline financial processes and optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for portfolio companies, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams at portfolio companies to ensure alignment with Singer Industrial's financial policies and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, controls, and systems.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage relationships with external service providers and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance shared services or similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing finance shared services teams.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in the industrial or acquisitions industry preferred.
