Consulting Director, Finance Effectiveness – Procure-to-Pay

Location:

Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in; Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX; and Denver, CO. Other cities are also welcome remotely.

Summary:

As a Consulting Director within the Procure-to-Pay group in our Finance Effectiveness Practice, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with strong P2P consulting experience. You will help financial shared services and procurement executives at multi-billion-dollar companies solve complex problems, from strategy through execution. You will work with leadership to develop new capabilities and support project teams in the delivery of high-quality project outcomes for our clients. This role is fundamental in delivering world-class results for our portfolio of Fortune 500 and Fortune 1,000 clients.

Responsibilities and Required Skills:

  • Lead P2P system implementations across the full SDLC lifecycle, including robust documentation, while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Lead conversations with Financial Shared Services leaders and CPOs regarding their strategic agenda for P2P
  • Lead teams throughout implementations including design sessions, technical design, and build
  • Translate business requirements to technical solution designs using a solution design document and leading practice system design principles
  • Work with strategic alliance partners designing the optimal end-to-end procurement solution to maximize client value
  • Seamlessly integrate with a client’s IT organization and be agile meeting their internal requirements
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Consistently follow all firm policies and guidance

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related field of study
  • 8-10 years of S2P or P2P system implementation experience (Coupa strongly preferred).
  • Experience with multiple full-lifecycle P2P technology implementations.
  • Technical knowledge across full P2P functionality; catalogs, purchasing requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, invoice receipt/ handling, OCR, invoice processing, payments, etc.
  • Knowledge of the P2P landscape and technologies such as Coupa, Oracle Hyperion, SAP, Concur, etc. Deep technical knowledge of Coupa functionality, development, and data integrations (csv, API, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Ability to execute the full scope of leading practice System Development Lifecycle activities – functional and technical requirements, solution design, interface and system build, testing cycles, training, and deployment.
  • P2P subject matter expertise and meaningful insights to share during client engagements involving assessment, finance transformation, vendor selection, and implementation.
  • Ability to capably run a technology implementation which includes managing people, developing teams, and coaching more junior team members
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities/ projects
  • Assist in developing executive-level presentations to communicate complex issues and recommendations across processes, systems, and people
  • Ability to maintain and enhance the Clearsulting culture, build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues, and demonstrate the Clearsulting Core Values each day.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
