Sign Fab is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Stoutland, MO

Growing manufacturing facility has an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. degree and 3- 5 years of human resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a small-to-medium manufacturing environment is a plus.

Experience should include all facets of human resource management including but not limited to: compliance, training and development, creation and implementation of policies and procedures, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for interviewing, screening, and recruiting job applicants for entry level, professional, and technical job openings.
  • Responsible for reviewing applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job-related requirements.
  • Responsible for conducting new employee orientation and benefits enrollment.
  • Responsible for conducting exit interviews and terminating benefits/or coordinating COBRA benefits.
  • Responsible for maintaining confidential personnel and benefits files.
  • Maintains and updates job descriptions and assists in the administration and monitoring of performance appraisal process.
  • Responsible for maintaining employee relations by overseeing the development of Employee Newsletters.
  • Responsible for overseeing safety programs, policies, and training for all employees.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all work-related injury paperwork and worker’s compensation claims are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining OSHA log.
  • Responsible for maintaining SDS documentation in accordance to company and GHS guidelines and policies.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate attendance records for all employees.
  • Serve as point person for employees regarding FMLA and other leave issues.
  • Responsible for answering employee inquires, such as employment verifications.
  • Responsible for overseeing payroll processing.
  • Responsible for the timely filing of employee related state and federal taxes.
  • Responsible for development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, such as employee handbook or job function procedures.
  • Performs benefits administration duties to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communication benefit information to employees.
  • Responsible for maintaining human resources information system records and complies reports from database.
  • Oversee payroll process timely and accurately. Review payroll registers.
  • Responsible for ensuring that information security policy and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or 3 to 5 years’ experience in Human Resources.

Working knowledge of QuickBooks preferred.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Must have working knowledge of QuickBooks.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have working knowledge of employment law, OSHA, GHS, and DOT regulations.
  • This position requires that the person be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work as part of a team and individually.
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Must be familiar with GAAP.

Training Requirements

General Safety, OSHA 10 hour

Supervisory Discrimination/sexual harassment prevention

Information Security

Physical Requirements

Minimal physical exertion may be required

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.

Personal Protective Equipment

Safety glasses and/or hearing protection may be required while performing specific tasks.

Work Environment

Works in an office environment.

Additional Notes

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by Senior Management.
