About the role:

SIB is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded, energetic, results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. We are looking for an inside sales professional who is considered the best of their peers as an individual contributor. This position is for a high-caliber salesperson who is experienced in outbound sales, prospecting, setting meetings/demos, managing their sales pipeline and selling to executive stakeholders within large businesses. Core responsibilities include identifying and securing new clients while cross-selling SIB’s services to the family of companies under the SIB brand. The ideal candidate must have experience in outbound sales, preferably in a consulting or cost-reduction setting.

*This is an onsite role in Charleston, SC*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential customers.
  • Engage prospects through personalized phone calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Qualify leads to ensure they align with our SIB’s offerings.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential buyers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor around our cost reduction solutions.
  • Implement and streamline cold outreach and lead generation strategies by leveraging the latest tools and resources.
  • Document all inbound/outbound sales activity within our CRM and curate client related information to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 1 years of leading a high-achieving sales team and experience as a hunter, preferably in a consulting or service-based environment, for a “sign and move on” type of company, preferably within the cost reduction space.
  • A disciplined, self-managed, relentless personality with a passion for sales
  • Has a proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Possess exceptional follow-up skills to advance a multitude of pursuits
  • The ability to work effectively in a remote capacity
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas, both orally and in writing
  • Possess excellent negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
  • Be capable of both big-picture thinking and detailed task execution
  • Align well with the SIB culture by working collaboratively with teammates in a highly entrepreneurial environment
  • Performance-driven with a high standard of business integrity and excellence
  • Experience with CRMs and other software tools (Salesforce/ SalesLoft)
  • Experience in the Reduction/Expense Management space is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Charleston, SC

Physical Demands:

Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting up to 25 pounds; Requires a normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations; Position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

Compensation & Benefits:

The Company offers competitive compensation based on an applicant’s experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Formal compensation offers are based on final candidate qualifications and experience. For the position of Sales Development Representative (SDR), expected compensation is between $55,000 to $85,000, on an annual basis, plus bonus based on individual performance. This is an FLSA-exempt position and not eligible for overtime pay. The Company also offers excellent benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD and LTD, PTO, Maternity and Parental leave, Sick Time, Public Holidays, and a 401(k) plan with a Company match
