Shimmick is seeking a highly talented Accounts Payable Specialist II based out of Denver, CO.

Shimmick has a long history of completing complex water projects, ranging from the world’s largest wastewater recycling and purification system in California to the record-setting Hoover Dam. Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Works on projects that are more complex in nature and requires more strategic thinking.
• Proactively plans, schedules and directs work for project team.
• With minimal supervision, applies advanced skills to the position.
• Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• AA 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous heavy civil construction or A/E/C experience
• Can work well both independently and on a team
• Always maintains a positive and professional attitude
• Detail and deadline oriented

The salary range for this position is between $50,000.00 - 70,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.

These benefits are available to all employees working more than 20 hours per week. Employees working less than 20 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental and vision coverage as well as EAP services.
