Human Resources Coordinator Confidential, Non-Bargaining Position

Full Time Position - 39 hours per week
SALARY & BENEFITS:
$21.62 - $28.71 per hour. Complete package of fringe benefits including vacation and sick leave, health, 17 paid Holidays, and CalPERS retirement. Travel allowance for field work.
JOB SYNOPSIS & QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:
Entry-level position responsible for providing administrative support to the HR Director and HR staff on all personnel-related matters Specifically, this role will provide administrative support to the HR Department by maintaining files in compliance with HR documentation, tracking and record retention policies, assisting in applicant recruitment, new hire orientation and benefits. Supports the HR Department in developing and implementing HR practices, policies, and procedures in support of organizational mission. This is a confidential position and the person in this position will have access to confidential information. This position will interact with employees including regional center leadership, applicants, vendors, the union and others as necessary to execute the responsibilities of the positon. Qualifications include the equivalent to graduation from the 12th grade and one year of HR clerical experience. Minimum required typing speed 55 w.p.m. A typing certificate is required (please submit along with resume/cover letter).
