SF Demo - FMR LLC is Hiring a Remote Vice President, Partnership Manager (Remote)

Job Description:

*This is a remote position and can be located in any US locations nationwide.

Role

The VP, Partnership Manager will play a meaningful role as an ambassador for Fidelity’s brand in the equity compensation marketplace. This role has a goal of educating influencers, consultants and service providers on Fidelity’s solutions while generating lead activity, growing sales, assisting in retention and cultivating productive partnerships. The ideal candidate will have relationships with the equity compensation ecosystem serving public and late-stage private companies.

  • Demonstrate Fidelity capabilities to industry influencers, consultants and external business partners

  • Carefully articulate Fidelity Investments’ competitive advantages

  • Understand equity compensation market propensities, and communicate internally with the sales executives, relationship managers, marketing, product development and senior management

  • Be an internal ambassador for Stock Plan Services (SPS) to maximize collaboration with other Fidelity business units

  • Set an appropriate strategy on a firm-by-firm basis for optimizing the amount of time that supports each relationship. On active searches, work closely with client team to develop strategy and implement with the center of influence involved

  • Solicit and circulate feedback and competitive intelligence to assist with understanding market perceptions about Fidelity’s capabilities, offerings and competitive positioning

  • Strategizing and delivering compelling demonstrations of Fidelity’s capabilities

  • Being a transparent and credible presence in the industry – viewed as an industry specialist

The Expertise and Skills We’re Looking For

  • 5 years of relevant client-facing, sales, account management and / or business development experience

  • Relationships with equity and IPO consultants

  • Previous experience in consultative selling of equity compensation administration solutions

  • NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses (can be acquired after hire)

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective organization, prioritization skills, strategic development and planning skills

  • High emotional intelligence and empathy to build effective relationships

  • Desire to roll your sleeves up and work with and for our teammates to achieve common goals

  • Self-awareness and history of self-improvement and personal development

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills

We focus on driving growth across all SPS markets. In addition to playing an integral role in the SPS business, we also partner closely with other businesses across the Fidelity enterprise.
