This role supports the information system needs of a new PMO. Candidate should have experience in the systems associated with program management, large organizations. Ideal candidate will have experience in a regulated/life sciences environment, especially drug development and the pharmaceutical industry. We require strong BA proficiency in developing and integrating systems, including some system configuration. Candidate must understand and be comfortable building dashboards in PowerBI and support business leaders with new dashboard development. Candidate should have experience working with a variety of data sets and functions. The ideal candidate enjoys clarifying ambiguity, problem solving to meet user requirements with smart solutions. System integration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with business users to understand business needs and objectives.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, solution design, system requirements, and process/data flows for all assigned development efforts.
• Prepare and lead coordination meetings between developers, business users, and vendors.
• Work with developers to review and clarify requirements to ensure technical specifications and design satisfy the business needs.
• Perform unit and functional testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Validate final solution/product meets signed business requirements documentation.
• Monitor and manage issue logs with prioritization of critical issues.
• Applies information systems development, implementation and operation control concepts in a wide variety of technology settings and appropriately assesses the exposures resulting from ineffective or missing control practices.
• Stay abreast of technology developments related to domain expertise.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Domain expertise in one or more functions (manufacturing, supply chain, quality, commercial operations, or finance)
• Strong relationship and communication skills in working with colleagues, and influencing clients on recommendations and analysis.
• 10 years of experience in a technical Business Analyst focused on technology transformation
• Exceptional skills in creating project documentation and communication.
• Strong ability to gather and analyze data to develop facts-based conclusions and recommendations
• Expertise in business metrics and process modeling
• Knowledge of the full software development life cycle
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills; demonstrated ability to clearly and persuasively communicate ideas, issues and recommendations to senior leadership.
