SepticPro is hiring!

SepticPro is a full-service septic system provider that has been in business since 2004. We are a small business and that means every interaction with a customer is that much more valuable – we take the time to provide the customer with answers to a wide-range of questions relating to their system & septic in general. There is not a one-size fits all mentality that a bigger company would suffer from, so we are looking for someone adaptable & able to read a situation and respond appropriately to provide the best service possible.

The Office Assistant role will be a first point of contact for customers on the phone & via email, including answers questions regarding our range of services as well as billing needs, some A/R & A/P required, so QuickBooks experience a plus. Candidate must be reliable with a good sense of people. This position is a part time position. We will work with your schedule and we would be flexible, but chosen hours would need to be between 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • Answering a multiple line phone for the office, offering first point of contact service for customers; answering any questions regarding services we offer, pricing, and following up for further appointments that may be needed.
  • Respond to email inquiries as well as digitally send out customer results from scheduled service appointments.
  • Checking voicemails multiple times a day to be sure all customers are responded to in a timely fashion if any calls are ever missed.
  • Provide administrative support to include entering confidential information into our database, hard copy filing, scanning, copying or faxing.
  • Processing A/R & A/P as applicable; about 10 hours per week total would be taken up by these duties.
  • Aid office manager as needed including assisting with scheduling, sometimes taking accurate messages as needed, processing customer payments & printing out the next days schedule for the office manager and technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience of 1 year in an office environment required.
  • A/R & A/P experience of 1 year required.
  • Ability to multi-task and help in other areas as needed.
  • Team-oriented attitude but still able to function independently when needed.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • QuickBooks experience preferred.

Benefits:

  • Health Insurance after 60 days employment.

  • PTO to be accrued. PTO increases in total allotment after 1 year.
  • Pay rate is hourly, to be determined based on experience.
