Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Healthcare Finance Analyst with expertise in both Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare finance and accounting, coupled with the ability to analyze data from various EMR platforms such as NextGen, ModMed, IMS, and eCW. This role involves optimizing financial outcomes by aligning revenue cycle processes with accounting principles and ensuring seamless integration between financial systems and EMR platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Data Analysis:
• Analyze financial data related to revenue cycle processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• EMR-RCM-Finance Integration:
• Bridge the gap between EMR and finance/accounting systems, ensuring a cohesive and integrated flow of financial data.
• Work with the data team and finance teams to facilitate streamlined financial reporting and analysis.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Collaborate on the development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts, incorporating insights from EMR and RCM data.
• Provide financial projections based on trends identified in electronic medical records.
• Financial Reporting:
• Generate comprehensive financial reports and dashboards, highlighting key performance indicators related to revenue cycle management.
• Present financial findings to stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for financial optimization.
• Compliance and Financial Controls:
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards within the healthcare industry.
• Implement and monitor financial controls to safeguard against errors and discrepancies in financial and EMR data.
• Training and Support:
• Provide training and support to finance and accounting teams on the integration of EMR and RCM data into financial processes.
• Act as a liaison between the finance team and healthcare informatics teams to address any system integration challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
• Proven experience in healthcare finance, accounting, and EMR/RCM analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle management processes and their financial implications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
