Summary:

This healthcare company in Atlanta, GA, is in search of a Financial Analyst who excels in navigating Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems while possessing a sharp attention to detail. The ideal candidate will combine proficiency in healthcare finance and accounting with the ability to analyze data across various EMR platforms such as NextGen, ModMed, IMS, and eCW. This position focuses on maximizing financial results by aligning revenue cycle processes with accounting standards and fostering smooth integration between financial systems and EMR platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data related to revenue cycle processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• EMR-RCM-Finance Integration: Act as a bridge between EMR and finance/accounting systems, fostering a cohesive flow of financial information. Collaborate with both the data team and finance teams to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Play a key role in crafting and maintaining budgets and forecasts, utilizing insights gained from EMR and RCM data. Provide financial projections based on identified patterns in electronic medical records.
• Financial Reporting: Produce comprehensive financial reports and dashboards, highlighting essential performance indicators tied to revenue cycle management. Present financial findings to stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for financial improvement.
• Compliance and Financial Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in the healthcare sector. Implement and oversee financial controls to prevent errors and discrepancies in financial and EMR data.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to finance and accounting teams regarding the integration of EMR and RCM data into financial processes. Act as a liaison between the finance team and healthcare informatics teams to resolve any integration challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in healthcare finance, accounting, and EMR/RCM analysis.
• Proficient analytical skills and mastery of financial analysis tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes and their financial implications.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities conducive to effective collaboration.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving technologies and embrace industry best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
