JOB SUMMARY: 

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join Astral Brands and support the Cosmedix business. This role will play a pivotal role in helping Cosmedix make informed decisions by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both numbers and the beauty industry, as well as a strong analytical background. The Analyst will report to the Global Vice President of Brand. 

RESPONBILIITES: 

1. Sales Analysis

· Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities across multiple channels and streams of revenue. 

· Prepare sales reports and presentations.

· Support the commission assessment and restructure process of the B2B channel.

2. Financial Analysis

· Develop and maintain financial models to forecast sales, gap closure, expenses, and profits.

· Provide recommendations to improve profitability across all channels of the Brand. 

· Provide support for portfolio analysis as well as cost savings models of current and future product rationalization. 

3. Sales Forecasting

· Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts to assist in financial planning. 

· Monitor and report on actual sales performance against forecasts, identifying deviations and potential areas of improvement.

4. Market Research

· Conduct competitive analysis across multiple channels and categories. 

· Provide recommendations based on market analysis to enhance sales and product strategies.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

· 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the B2B industry.

· Strong understanding of financial statement analysis.

· Proficient in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel and data visualization tools.

· Knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales methodologies.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
