Current Opportunities: As a member of Aveannas FP&A team, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop as an early career Finance professional. With a proven track record of internal growth, this has been an ideal role for Audit/Tax associates looking to make the industry transition into a supportive and growth oriented environment.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop and Maintain regular reporting documents utilized by all levels of the organization.

Play a key role in operational and financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.

Assist with the production of Aveannas annual budget and forecasts.

Work alongside counterparts in Accounting and Finance during Month, Quarter, and Yearend Financial Close procedures.

Perform Analyses as needed for proposed business initiatives and contract negotiations

Attend meetings to further knowledge of current events throughout the organization and communicate findings to senior leadership

Assist with implementation of Business Intelligence programs

Regularly present independent findings to Senior and Executive level leadership

Track and quantify rate changes made in the payor environment

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar field

1-2 years of experience in Public Accounting, Tax, or FP&A Analyst Roles.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work in a complex environment and collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels

Healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Experience with ERP and BI systems preferred but not required (Workday, Adaptive Insights, Tableau)

Other Skills/Abilities

Familiarity of financial statements with a focus on P&L analysis.

Aptitude towards critical thinking; shows eagerness to find answers to problems that arent always clear cut or available.

Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and ability to work under tight deadlines

Physical Requirements

Must be able to adhere to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times

Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English

Must be able to travel; company does not provide vehicles or transportation

Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of 25 pounds

Prolonged walking, sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting

Must be able to sit and climb stairs

Must have visual and hearing acuity

Must have strong sense of smell and touch

Environment

Performs duties in an office environment during agency operating hours

Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions
