Your key areas of focus:

Supporting functional groups across Sendwave and WorldRemit with input on global projects, you will help to translate our vision and business strategy to support our People plans and promote us as an employer of choice. You will build strong relationships and networks across the People team, centralised functions, business leaders and Exco. You will confidently flex your style to be involved and supportive yet challenge where appropriate.

Reporting to the Director, People Business Partnering, you will:

• Understand business priorities
• Maintain sustainable structures
• Influence people strategy
• Operationalise the colleague cycle
• Deliver repeatable processes
• Deliver colleague facing services
• Closely partner with client groups from a people perspective, becoming a trusted advisor to the business, developing strong relationships at all levels

• Proactively identify people issues and trends within the business, coach managers through the employee journey including: performance management, disciplinary, feedback and employee development. You'll be working closely with the Talent Development and Talent Acquisition team to seek new colleagues as well as identifying and developing talent, ensuring our colleagues have the right support to develop and grow with us. You'll be reviewing our structures to ensure they are fit for our team, our purpose and our future.
• Increase manager effectiveness in coaching and developing their people to create high performing teams, building strong morale and increased productivity and retention.
• Contribute to the development of our People operations making them smoother, automated and more responsive, ensuring adherence to best practice and relevant legislation.
• Assist with the development of policies and procedures, appropriate documentation and recommendations, including reviewing and updating company policies and handbook
• Analyse and interpret workforce metrics with a natural focus on continuous process improvement.

What you bring to the table: 

• Developed People experience with a broad knowledge of full cycle People disciplines and a sound knowledge of employment legislation. CIPD qualification (or similar) and global HR experience would be a plus.
• Business Partnering – proven track record of strong partnering and collaboration with employees and leaders, onsite and remote.
• Experience of Scaling: you will have experienced high growth, evolving to meet the increasing needs of the business. Happy to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail.
• Strong Communication skills: well developed advisory skills and the ability to gain credibility and exercise influence. Able to deliver clear, direct, messages and build strong relationships.
• Self-starter: high level of energy and drive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
• Solution-focused thinker: empathy, can-do attitude and mature decision-making skills. 
• Experience within a fast-paced, ambiguous, scaling business, along with an understanding of some of the challenges that come with the fintech industry. 
• Team player: visible contributor, collaborating and sharing knowledge.
