Description

The Temporary Human Resource Assistant is responsible for coordination of offer letters and the new hire onboarding process as well as assisting the Human Resource Director in day-to-day functions of the HR department. This position generally serves as the first point of contact for new hires going through onboarding, as well as employees who need assistance.

This is a temporary position from May - November of 2024. The typical hours for this position would be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; onsite.

• has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to tactfully interact with all levels of the organization
• can manage various responsibilities with multiple deadlines and competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• will provide excellent customer service while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and one (1) year related work experience in a professional office environment and general HR knowledge -OR- an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline. Experience using Paylocity Payroll/HRIS is a plus.

The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), various software programs, and internet applications. Organizational skills with attention to detail are required.
