JOB DESCRIPTION:
The GFFRR Manager position supports the Office of Assistant Secretary of the Army and Financial Management & Comptroller, General Fund Audit Sustainment. The Manager is a part of a large-scale effort with emphasis on the Army’s General Fund financial statement auditability initiatives. We are currently seeking a manager to assist in a broad range of financial management services and audit and remediation of the Army General Fund Financial Statement audit. Additionally, this position will be supporting Sehlke Consulting’s design, implementation and management of the GFAS project and team.
The Manager position is focused on Corrective Actions Plans (CAPs) and Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFR) audit support through the review and analysis of key supporting documents (KSD) related to the Army General Fund account. The position requires coordination with Army Commands, to include Department of the Army (DA) personnel, independent auditors, Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), and United States Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM). The position requires computer skills that include online communication and cloud-type storage of information. The list of KSDs to be analyzed are related to the accruals for Government Purchase Card (GPC), Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF), Defense Travel System (DTS), Permanent Change of Station (PCS), Military Pay (MILPAY), Civilian Pay (CIVPAY) and Revenue. The Manager will be responsible to plan, organize, execute, control, and perform work efforts to result in successful delivery of professional services. The Manager will work closely with Government personnel under the supervision of a Sehlke project manager.
Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to the following:
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: DoD Secret ***Must hold an active DoD Secret, or above, clearance for initial consideration. ***
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Mandatory: Masters' Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or Business Management required.
Waiverable/Substitutable: Bachelor’s Degree, along with a Certified Defense Financial Management (CDFM), Certified Government Financial Management (CGFM), or CPA and can be a substitution to the Masters’ Degree requirement.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:The ideal candidate will possess a Four (4) years of DoD or federal level financial management work experience.
SYSTEM SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
