Roles & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Our Billing Representatives are problem solvers who make a real difference by navigating accounts and assisting clients with their billing inquires, processing payments, and analyzing accounts to build a positive client experience with quality customer service. Billing Representatives are expected to have good math skills and basic accountancy knowledge, familiarity with computer software, pay attention to details and have great communication skills.

* Provide professional client communication by email, telephone, and in person

* Make outbound calls daily to clients to follow up on delinquent accounts and stratify collection activities

* Daily payment processing and maintaining accurate client records for invoices and updates

* Collaborate with team members and clients to resolve billing concerns

* Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies when warranted

* Account reconciliation, close accounts, update fee methods and fee schedules

* Maintain compliance with billing procedures and company guidelines

* Assist with the overflow of incoming calls

* Work on special projects as assigned by manager

Education & Experience

* High School Diploma is required

* Associates Degree is preferred

* Requires a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience with Salesforce platform or comparable CRM preferred

* Time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize

* Must be able to work well in a team environment

* Willingness to grow and accept new challenges

* Strong communication (verbally and written) and active listening

* Great Customer Service, problem solving, critical thinking

* Math, accounting and analyzing skills

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
