We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team. Our office is located in Boston, MA, but this position is open to both local and remote applicants.

Responsibilities & Activities:

• Preparation and second-level review of complex tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, corporations, and partnerships
• Tax consulting and unique problem-solving
• Financial planning services for high-end clientele
• Communication and relationship building with clients from a variety of experiences
• Research and exploration of new tax reform in the ever-changing financial industry
• Training and management of other staff members and interns
• Prioritization of tasks and expectations in a fast-paced environment
• Organization and management of procedures in a deadline-driven setting

Qualifications:

• BS or MS Degree in Accounting or Tax
• 4 years of work experience in tax preparation
• Advanced technical skills and vast knowledge of tax concepts and accounting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple engagements in a team environment
• Experience with ProSeries is a plus
• CPA credential is a plus
• Understanding and appreciation of humor is a plus
