Scooter's Coffee is searching for a happy, positive, smiling face with leadership experience to be the General Manager of our Paducah, Kentucky, location. Leadership is what we are looking for -- experience in a fast-paced food service environment is preferred but not required. Those from the customer service industry thrive in this role due to their love of people and relationship skill set.

We are looking for a candidate with the qualifications:

Leadership: The ability to positively lead and develop a team while following all franchise brand standards.

Administrative: The ability to efficiently staff and stock a store while meeting all deadlines and operating within payroll and inventory budgets.

Organizational: The ability to maintain a clean, organized work environment both inside and outside the store.

Customer Service: The ability to build sales and develop loyal relationships with customers by providing outstanding products and amazing service in a fast, friendly, efficient manner.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Business requirements

• In store hours typically vary from 35-40 hours. Additional hours may be necessary in emergencies and store circumstances.
• Scheduling of Barista Team
• Weekly inventory and product ordering
• Handle cash deposits and ensure proper records are kept
• Keep accurate sales records – this includes monitoring store sales trends, cost of goods, labor hours and individual Barista performance
• Hire, train, manage and mentor team members
• Builds relationships with customers.

Leadership

• Nurtures a 'Family' feeling among Team
• Sets goals and provides coaching and mentoring for the Team while engaging baristas in meeting performance indicators
• Ensures exceptional customer service
• Demonstrates the ability to solve problems independently during high volume times.
