```Job Summary```

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on mechanical equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in down-hole drilling tools, and in particular, power generation, electro/mechanical hydraulic assemblies, and measurements while drilling tools (MWD).

```Duties and Responsibilities```

• Perform cleaning, inspection and testing of the HALO RSS Product as listed in the RSS Competency Standard, and in accordance with the appropriate Maintenance & Service Instructions. Complete all associated maintenance documentation including status tagging, etc.
• Perform diagnostic tests on both assemblies and sub-assemblies of the RSS systems.
• Maintain & Overhaul assemblies and sub-assemblies of the RSS systems, e.g. identify, log and replace faulty/NC tool components.
• Perform HALO system repairs including the replacement of sub-assemblies e.g. mechanical/electronic sub-component.
• Perform Calibrations & Verifications as required including: Hydraulic Force test, QC roll test of sensors and associated documentation.
• Assemble and run functional & qualification tests, troubleshooting final product with software, hardware, and complete associated documentation.
• Complete all R&M Documentation, such as check lists, maintenance records, inventory sheets, as required Pre- and Post - Job reports to ensure both electronic and hard copy systems are maintained. This work may be performed within the SAP MRP/ERP or other systems.
• Deliver on time high quality RSS systems to operations, that strictly adhere to RSS Competency Standard.
• Work overtime as required to deliver to department commitments, as required.
• Proactively provide input and discussion pertaining to safety, processes, workflows, or reliability as appropriate for continual improvement of tools, work areas, or procedures.
• Assists and understudy through the Tech III & Senior Technician.
• Assist in & Develop skills in tests, troubleshooting and failure analysis of assets and update documentation as appropriate.
• Completes and re-certify in all basic training requirements including Safety Training, ESD Awareness, Lithium Battery Safety and any other assigned ELM Training.
• Works with SAP software, product data management database, quality notification system, inventory management and time entry system.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Ensure that hand tooling and equipment is correctly maintained and report deficiencies.
• Ensure a clean workplace through exceptional housekeeping practices.
• Fill out paperwork such as check lists, maintenance records and inventory sheets
• Maintain log sheets in SAP.

```Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities```

• Technical Knowledge of Drilling Systems Products & Service.
• Exposure to oil field services.
• Exposure to a technical vocation.
• Exposure to torque master, overhead cranes & forklift operations.
• Knowledge of utilization of calipers, micrometers, height gauges, protractors, and go/nogo ring and plug gauges.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics, manuals and other materials to determine specifications.
• Ability to review and rapidly understand complex mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to understand and work with hydraulic/electronic/ electro-mechanical systems.
• Able to understand and follow mechanical and electronics assembly procedures.
• Ability to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.
• Electrical Skills including metering (use of multi and meg ohm meters).
• Basic Computing skills with exposure to data entry & office platforms.
• Ability to work in team environment.
• Excellent communication Skills, both written and verbally, Organization & Self-Motivation.

```Requirements```

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience with electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills

- Strong working knowledge of basic MS Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

- SAP experience is a plus

• Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, lift and carry under 45 lbs., perceive depth and operate a motor vehicle.
• Conditions may include working inside and/or outside. May work around machines with moving parts and moving objects. Working near radiant and electrical energy. Working closely with others or working alone. Working extended or irregular hours and traveling by all possible modes of transportation.
• Equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing the essential job function include but not limited to computers and related equipment, calculators, copiers, fax machines, telephone and vehicles. Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to, safety glasses, hardhat, reinforced toed shoes, coveralls, gloves, and ear plugs or muffs.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and able to show up to work on time, and when needed for “on call” weekend call outs. This is team effort, and all members of the team are required to be present during normal operations, and when the weekend team is needed to support operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
