Foam fire suppression systems have been widely used in military bases and chemical plants. Unfortunately, the foam has PFAS chemicals, aka forever-chemicals, which have already created a huge amount of pollution of drinking water and indirectly cause birth defects in the babies of pregnant women, tumors in young children, and killed many adults with breast, ovarian, testicular, prostate, and many other cancers much as asbestos and lead paint had done decades ago. The Safespill system is one of the few alternatives to Firefighting foam.

Safespill has entered market adoption of our system for military aircraft hangars and IBC storage units and expects significant demand in the next 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Construct/assemble Safespill flooring systems consisting of aluminum extrusions, bolted connections, piping, and pump systems
• Work with power tools, drive a forklift and perform various duties around the warehouse.
• Ability to travel to install our flooring in various locations within the United States.

Basic Qualifications

• A basic understanding of mechanical equipment is preferred.
• Ability to get along with others and work as part of a team.
• A safety-oriented attitude is required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. frequently.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Housing AllowanceSafespill offers a monthly allowance of $500 to technicians who move within a 5-mile radius of the office. The monthly allowance will be paid with regularly scheduled payroll and is subject to lawful tax deductions.
