Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts and providing exceptional customer service to our commercial clients. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. At least 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines, underwriting, and account management. We offer a competitive compensation package, Monday through Friday Work Schedule, an onsite gym, and Work From Home Options. The salary for this position depends on experience. It is $55,000 to $65,000 per year and has opportunities for bonuses twice per year.

Responsibilities


  • Build strong relationships with clients to maintain and grow customer loyalty.
  • Advise clients on suitable insurance options depending on their needs and objectives. 
  • Answer inbound calls, respond to emails, and reply to billing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the sales producers to ensure all opportunities have been identified on renewal quotes. 
  • Assist clients in making appropriate coverage changes.
  • Verify new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, coverages, and other relevant information
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and follow established protocols.

Requirements


  • Active Indiana Property and Casualty License Required.
  • 3-5 years of commercial lines account management and underwriting experience.
  • Insurance coverage knowledge with an ability to communicate clearly to clients and underwriters. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.
  • Able to work under pressure and time constraints in a fast-paced environment
  • Exemplify professionalism over the phone, in writing, and in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
