We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to support our retail construction projects located in the Las Vegas area. As a Superintendent, you will provide daily leadership and supervision to all activities on a Schimenti construction site and ensure safety protocols are maintained.
Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day oversight of a construction project
• Must have a proven record of managing complex projects, experience with occupied spaces is a plus
• Manage subcontractors and employees on site effectively and efficiently
• Daily interaction with Project Managers, Architects, Project Engineers, Clients and/or Client Representatives.
• Management of schedule, including weekly preparation of 3-week look ahead schedules
• Coordination between trades
• Dimension/layout verification
• Ensure compliance with submittals and other administrative responsibilities
• Daily focus on job site safety
• Maintenance of daily log
• Maintain job site security/perimeter
• Manage close out process and warranty responses with project manager
• Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts
• Monitor costs, including labor time and material
• Attend and participate in weekly meetings, including project and subcontractor meetings

Educational and Professional Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; junior college, trade school, or construction management degree is preferred
• Seven year minimum experience as Superintendent in interior, high-end commercial general contracting
• Experience with retail construction is required, flagship store and luxury retail experience preferred
• Site work and ground-up building experience is a plus
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work with tools to perform various phases of construction work is a plus
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specifications
• Experience managing subcontractors
• 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification, 30 Hour OSHA preferred

Software Systems 

• Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office experience required 
• Procore and Timberline/Sage experience preferred
