About the job

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to plan, lead, and monitor a series of projects focused on improving financial compliance and audit operations. Ideal candidates will need to demonstrate strong experience in managing financial systems implementations. As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

Coordinate with key team members and stakeholders, including internal and external auditors, to evaluate and document current business processes
• Focus on projects required to transition our financial systems and process from the level required for a private company to that of a public company.
• Identify and plan work efforts for process improvements, articulating the business value of proposed efforts
• Lead project execution, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate
• Assist management in the monitoring, management, and continuous improvement of operational processes
• Build and maintain project documentation including project schedules, issue and risk tracking, requirements traceability, and status reports
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and management. Provide presentations on projects (e.g. kick-off, scope, deliverables and schedule) as requested.
• Advocate for change management - beyond innovating new ideas, you will help in the adoption of new processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Accounting or related field.
• Typically requires a minimum of eight years of experience researching, analyzing and/or reporting information related to specific area of assignment. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desirable or equivalent professional training preferred.
• 2 years experience leading projects
• 1 years experience working on data management and / or analytic based projects
• Experience with MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent project and issue tracking software
• Demonstrated ability to document requirements and business process mappings
• Presented to Sr. Management level resources on project status and value proposition
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
