Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Reports to: Director of Application Delivery and Support

Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager professional for our Santa Rosa, CA, USA with an option to work from home 3 days a week.

  • Execute projects using SCRUM Agile methodology, acting as a SCRUM master.
  • Coordinate project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
  • Develop or update project plans for information technology projects.
  • Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Establish and execute a project communication plan.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings related to information technology projects.
  • Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies.
  • Monitor the performance of project teams, providing and documenting performance feedback.
  • Identify need for initial or supplemental project resources.
  • Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI).
  • Assess current or future customer needs and priorities through communicating directly with customers, conducting surveys, or other methods.
  • Report project status and issues to management.
  • This position does not supervise employees.

Requirements:

  • Minimum education and experience required: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Must have 3 years of hands-on Agile experience.
  • Experience working and leading SaaS/Cloud based projects.
  • Experience with software testing (including QA & QC activities).
  • Knowledge of Application development in modern languages (Java, Node, Javascript, RoR, etc).
  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented analysis & design.
  • Knowledge of Design Patterns.
  • Knowledge of TDD.
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics.
  • Knowledge of JIRA/ Confluence.
  • Experience in Client/Partner Onboarding.

Compensation:

Salary and performance based compensation to be determined dependent on experience.
