Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Reports to: Director of Application Delivery and Support
Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager professional for our Santa Rosa, CA, USA with an option to work from home 3 days a week.
- Execute projects using SCRUM Agile methodology, acting as a SCRUM master.
- Coordinate project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Develop or update project plans for information technology projects.
- Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.
- Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Establish and execute a project communication plan.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings related to information technology projects.
- Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies.
- Monitor the performance of project teams, providing and documenting performance feedback.
- Identify need for initial or supplemental project resources.
- Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI).
- Assess current or future customer needs and priorities through communicating directly with customers, conducting surveys, or other methods.
- Report project status and issues to management.
- This position does not supervise employees.
Requirements:
- Minimum education and experience required: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field.
- Must have 3 years of hands-on Agile experience.
- Experience working and leading SaaS/Cloud based projects.
- Experience with software testing (including QA & QC activities).
- Knowledge of Application development in modern languages (Java, Node, Javascript, RoR, etc).
- Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Knowledge of Object Oriented analysis & design.
- Knowledge of Design Patterns.
- Knowledge of TDD.
- Knowledge of Data Analytics.
- Knowledge of JIRA/ Confluence.
- Experience in Client/Partner Onboarding.
Compensation:
Salary and performance based compensation to be determined dependent on experience.
