The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California’s Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.

MRB/RMA Coordinator:

Sanmina is looking for dedicated and dynamic MRB/RMA Coordinator for our Fremont, CA location. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the Material Review Board and non-conformance reporting processes to ensure timely disposition of product, including associated activities of RMA and RTV.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

• Coordinate proper Material Review Board (MRB) disposition with Quality Department, Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing as necessary.
• Manage intake and organization of MRB and RMA inventory locations and tracking logs
• Document RMA activities through the company’s Product Quality system
• Produce reports and metrics on RMA, MRB and RTV that are shared with management
• Work with purchasing to interact with and respond to suppliers for product returns and RMA requests
• Communicate approval of MRB Dispositions to Accounting, Purchasing and Materials to ensure receiving credit for returning credits for return or scrapped materials.
• Perform inspections of customer returned material to determine the quality of electromechanical assemblies, visually and dimensionally, based upon internal and customer supplied workmanship standards and drawing specifications.
• Document results of inspection activities
• Document and communicate any non-conformances identified during inspection activities.
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity required.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

Education and Experience Qualifications

• High School Diploma or college courses.
• Minimum of 2 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must have a knowledge of GD&T drawings consistent with the latest revisions of the ASME standards
• Experience reading and interpreting Bill of Materials (BOM), workmanship standards and customer engineering specifications
• Experience with basic inspection equipment and measurement such as bore gauge, caliper, micrometer, pin gauges, etc.
• Competent in word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must be flexible in regards to overtime availability and work with minimal supervision.
