The Quality Engineering Technician will verify that incoming and in-process material meets Tesladrawings and specifications. He/She is responsible for the inspection of material, the coordination ofMRB activities, including data input, reporting, and logistics associated with material dispositions. Thisperson will also administer the calibration system ensuring that measuring and test equipment is withinits calibration due date. The Quality Engineering Technician will work closely with Quality Engineering toprovide reports, charts, graphs etc. to monitor and improve product quality.The successful candidate must have the ability to meet tight deadlines, have strong interpersonal andcommunication skills, be detail oriented, and have the ability to work independently. He/she mustestablish and maintain a professional working relationship with line supervisors, operators, andmanufacturing engineering.
- Audits high visibility or difficult containments
- Issue SCAR or SORT as necessary (backup)
- Maintains master SCAR and SORT tracker with inventory counts
- Compiles data and from stamping check sheets
- Perform part modifications with precision per Engineering request for trial purposes
- Monitor and track trials in GA and provide detailed feedback on status and results
- Create blank samples and manage shipping between external warehouses and testingfacilities.
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment
- Previous mechanical inspection background with ability to use basic and precisionmeasurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings
- Must have command of the English lanuage, both written and verbal

$30.50 - $58.33/hour cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
