The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California’s Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.

Test and debug complex mechatronics systems, primarily for the semiconductor industry

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Test complex electronic boards and assemblies using Test Process Instructions (TPI) and/or documented Test Procedures.
• Troubleshoot or identify errors in systems level tests.
• Perform failure diagnosis down to the sub module level
• Trace/diagnose complex incorrect cabling/wiring and correct mis-wires
• Compliance with ESD regulations, safe working practices
• Work in ISO 6 cleanroom environment.
• Perform repair work as needed
• Support production as needed.
• Prepare activity reports and other data input as required.
• Follows all health and safety policies at all times.
• Support Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, and/or other related processes for continuous improvement of critical operational metrics across key functions.
• Perform related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications, Skills/Experiences

• Associate Degree or Technician Certification in Electronics/Semiconductor Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Thorough knowledge of electrical circuits, instruments and components
• Basic computer skills
• Professional experience in testing circuits and repairing devices at module or component level
• Must be able to read and interpret electronic schematics and assembly drawings.
• Experience in using Test equipment including multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.
• Must be able to work closely with engineers.
• Must be self-directed, dependable, and motivated with excellent teamwork and time management skills.
