Samson Controls is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Baytown, TX
- Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance.
- Ensures timeliness and thoroughness of payroll processing.
- Enters bi-weekly payroll data into ERP accounting system.
- Responds to employee inquiries in a timely manner regarding payroll and benefits concerns.
- Monitor PTO usage and provide quarterly reports to managers on team’s available PTO.
- Handles timecard entries, conflicts as necessary.
- Report time for temporary employees weekly.
- Code and enter benefit and 401K invoices into ERP accounting system.
- Assists with employee engagement activities.
- Assists with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as requested by HR Manager.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Provide necessary documentation from bi-weekly payroll for auditors during financial audits.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
- Provides coverage for Talent Acquisition Specialist.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to preserve confidentiality.

- Excellent Relationship management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- High school Diploma/GED
- General Accounting and ERP Experience
- Two (2) years of human resources experience
- Two (2) years of payroll and benefits experience
- HRCI/SHRM Certification
- Experience in manufacturing or related industry.
