Saigon Social is Hiring a Floor Manager Near New York, NY
As the Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant floor operations, ensuring seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Your main duties will include:
- Managing and supervising the front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders.
- Training and coaching staff on service standards, product knowledge, and customer interaction.
- Monitoring the dining room to ensure efficient seating and flow of guests.
- Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination between the front and back of house.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and bar.
- Implementing and enforcing restaurant policies and procedures.
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Handling cash transactions and reconciling daily sales reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Food safety certification is a plus.
