1.0 Summary of Job Purpose: The SAP Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the updated SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) software at Safran Power Units San Diego. The SAP Coordinator will be responsible for meeting the project targets in terms of cost, quality and schedule. 2.0 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead the change management and prepare the entry into service, through communication initiatives, documentation, and receipt of the work packages.• Adhere to the defined project schedule.• Monitor the performance of SAP systems and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization. Proactively address issues related to system performance, scalability, and efficiency.• Define and manage the project risks.• Maintain documentation of SAP configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate reports and metrics to track system performance, user activity, and compliance.• Track the progress of the project and take actions needed to meet the project targets in terms of cost, quality and scheduled. • Manage change requests from the team.3.0 Required Competencies; Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent. • Excellent communication, writing, and client-facing skills.• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.• Must have SAP experience.• Experience desired between 1 and 3 years in project management or a related field. • Intermediate to Advance level of Microsoft Office and Excel preferred5.0 Physical Requirements: • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
