Job Summary: The Sales & Business Analyst is responsible for the forecasting and sales reporting for the Department Stores and Key Accounts Channels. Will provide all ad hoc analyses and business insights for VPs of the channel.
Responsibilities:
Deployment and consolidation of monthly and weekly sales forecasts for all accounts in the channel and provide accurate figures, with a clear understanding of the main variances vs budget and previous forecasts
• Development and analysis of commercial data, identification and highlighting of essential information for the business, with emphasis on the evolution of turnover with a detailed approach by client, by brand, in relation to the budget and latest forecast
• Conduct, support and supervision of the sales forecasting process for the market in order to guarantee visibility and accuracy of sales, ensure the achievement of associated KPIs, collection of feedback from the Key Account Managers, analysis of risks and associated opportunities.
• Provide VPs visibility as to MTD, QTD & YTD performances by account, brand and Key Account Manager vs. LY and budget
• Work in close collaboration with the Key Account Managers, mapping and monitoring indicators to improve daily commercial results and analysis of the return on investment of activities
• Provide any necessary ad hoc analysis needed
Required Skills:
• Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Strong analytical skills: able to analyze different data sources to identify opportunities and propose solutions and action plans;
• Ability to work in a multifunctional environment;
• In-depth knowledge of sales reporting and forecasting
• Problem solving, proactive personality, positive approach
• Ability to synthesize and present analytical results
• Structured mindset, intellectual integrity and flexibility;
• Team spirit
