Job Summary:

Ruggable, a rapidly growing and innovative disruptor in the home goods industry, is seeking a dynamic and passionate PR & Marketing Coordinator with 2-4 years of experience. The PR & Marketing Coordinator will be instrumental in executing effective PR strategies to enhance our brand visibility and buzz. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of pop culture and trends. This role involves not only traditional PR responsibilities but also a focus on general marketing coordination, support for our corporate social responsibility initiatives, and requires excellent communication and organizational skills. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Manage our PR agency and assist in the development and execution of integrated PR strategies across various media and consumer touchpoints.
• Generate innovative PR campaign ideas and story angles, and manage media coverage and press materials with our agency.
• Monitor industry news, track media placements, and prepare coverage reports for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate and manage the PR calendar, press events, sample trafficking, and media inquiries.
• Assist in general marketing coordination, ensuring alignment of PR activities with broader marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Support the company's corporate social responsibility efforts and communication, including strategy and executional support for philanthropy and sustainability efforts. 

What You’ll Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of PR experience, with a track record of successful media placements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop compelling story ideas.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

• $60,000 per year base salary
• An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
• Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
