Position Summary

The AVP – Finance will report directly to the Sr. Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. The Vice President of Financial will lead the FP&A analytics function within the FP&A team. Support will include forecasting, data analytics, strategic planning, and other related financial activities that drive transparency to the business and provide solutions to complex business challenges.

• Reports to the Sr. Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis
• Supports the executive leadership team
• Supervises the FP&A analytics function and team
• Interfaces with key functional departments such as Accounting, Human Resources, IT and other departments as needed

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide financial analytics modeling and ad-hoc financial analysis support to business leaders as well as the FP&A team
• Maintain portfolio modeling as well as multi-year forecast models
• Refine/develop operational capacity models to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained
• Manage cost per loan and margin metrics that drive business results and transparency
• Interface with the accounting department to ensure that the business books and records properly reflect the business and its activities
• Communicate financial results in a meaningful way to the business so that it is actionable and reflects insight into key variances
• Develop, manage and retain key staff members

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business or finance
• 5-7 years related experience within the mortgage industry

Desired:

• CBA/MBA preferred, but not required
