ABOUT ROGERSON COMMUNITIES:

Rogerson is a highly respected leader in the rapidly growing field of low-income senior housing. Rogerson is committed to improving the quality of life and well-being of seniors and low- and moderate-income individuals and families, while tackling the Boston-area housing crisis head on. Rogerson unites healthcare and social services with community-based property management and real estate development. Its portfolio includes affordable housing for low-income older adults, moderate- income housing for adults 55 , memory care, continuing care communities, and adult day health programs. Rogerson provides direct services, builds properties to meet the accelerating need for senior housing, and partners with other nonprofits to develop and implement effective local strategies to provide aging-in-community opportunities.

This senior position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will take the leadership role in working jointly with operating management to develop operations processes and measurements that support the effective management of Rogerson owned and affiliated properties.

A significant part of the initial work will be assisting in the implementation of YARDI and ensuring that it reaches its potential in providing data collection, data analysis and documentation.

This role will also be focused on ensuring that all of Rogerson’s operational processes are mapped, documented, and supported by training. In addition, this role will be the focus of process improvement by providing training and tools across Rogerson.

The ideal candidate will have a track record as an effective business operations partner with demonstrated analytical, communications and organizational skills and have experience using computers to implement required processes and measurements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and solve breakdowns in Yardi related process/systems both intra-and inter-team across the organization and cross-functionally with broader support and partner teams (e.g. IT, Accounting, Senior Living, Affordable Housing).
  • Organize business operations process and systems priorities leveraging agile methodology.
  • Articulate detailed requirements for all process and systems projects by interviewing stakeholders and diagnosing root causes. Develop and document clear project plans with roles and responsibilities to execute the solutions.
  • Manage cross-system data architecture, data analysis, and data visualization projects.
  • Create and maintain accessible, digestible, and standardized process documentation for both existing and new processes.
  • Organize and implement effective change management for updated and new process/ system roll outs.
  • Manage ongoing education, leadership, and coaching efforts on business processes for new and existing team members.
  • Monitor effectiveness of processes and proactively engage with teams to evolve approaches, mechanisms, tools, and processes.
  • This position will be a senior individual contributor that will have a high impact and will lead significant initiatives and teams.
  • Participate in the rollout of established processes.
  • Define and monitor KPI to track effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Additional and relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
  • 5 years of progressive business operations / operational excellence / roles supporting multiple functions.
  • 3 years of experience managing/leading cross-functional projects/programs.
  • Clear track record of end-to-end process and systems improvement, as evidenced by KPI improvement and positive stakeholder feedback.
  • Strong data analysis and presentation capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Critical thinker and creative problem solver with the ability to dig deep, diagnose root causes through stakeholder interviewing, and propose multiple tactical solutions to address the need (not an order taker).
  • Highly detail oriented, leaving no stone left un-turned in requirements discovery, solution design and implementation.
  • Excellent ability to communicate complex information simply to key stakeholders in both verbal and written forms.
  • Advanced knowledge of common business/revenue operations, data analysis.
  • Ability to operate independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Located within a commutable distance from Rogerson’s office.
  • Travel to Rogerson properties and communities as needed.
  • Monday to Friday schedule with regular work hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading process improvement projects.
  • Experience in leading system’s implementation programs with a process focus.
  • Lean Six-Sigma or other process certifications.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Property Management, Affordable Housing, Senior Living experience.
  • Yardi Voyager experience
