Detailed Job Description
Primary job responsibilities include:
  • Design and implement new functionality
  • Troubleshoot system and user problems
  • Stay up to date on trends and developments within HR systems and technology, proactively providing ideas and information regarding best practices and trends. Work to enhance the capability of self and team.
  • Drive testing strategy by defining test scenarios and oversee process. Review, test, and assist with the implementation of system upgrades; collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of an update or fix and document process and results.
  • Provide technical and functional requirements for integrations and new functionality
  • Document user requirements, technical mapping, functional procedures and user training material to support system changes
  • Manage projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality
  • Create and generate data extracts through a variety of reporting tools by understanding data values, sources and data models including the data structure and interactions.
  • Provide functional and application support for various HR systems.

Minimum Qualifications
3 years experience working with technology and data as a Business Analyst or other analytical position. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
Required Specialized Skills:
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills with the ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
  • Insightful, deductive reasoner, fact-based problem solver
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential or sensitive information
  • Extensive knowledge of computer systems operations and computer systems analysis with the ability to solve related problems
  • Strong knowledge of system implementation lifecycle
  • Strong working knowledge of and experience in data mining through the utilization of various reporting tools
  • Ability to make routine decisions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn with a strong sense of accountability and proven track record of delivering results
