FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt (hourly)
WORK YEAR: 260 days (12-month employee)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a fingerprint criminal and DCFS background check
Preferred 1-2 years HR or equivalent experience handling confidential and sensitive information
Special Knowledge/Skills/Requirements:
Previous experience with HR practices and principles
Experience with Microsoft Office Suites and Google, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Drive and gmail
Working knowledge of applicable local, State and federal laws
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy
Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships
Understand and solve problems within limits of own authority
Work under tight deadlines and maintain accuracy of work
Keep track of multiple projects simultaneously while managing multiple interruptions and still completing projects or work assignments on time
Ability to work independently and perform tasks assigned with minimal supervision
Operation of computer, technology, and assigned software
Conducts self in an ethical manner
