At least some exposure to workers compensation litigation is ideal. A Spanish speaker would be greatly welcomed, but is not a requirement. Legal Assistant Duties: Keeping current with client files, an experienced assistant with a full desk will have 300 cases but junior candidates will be ramped up.Monitoring attorney phone calls, including updating clients per attorney instruction.Preparing correspondence with clients and opposing counsel, memoranda for inter-office use, and other legal documents.A1 case management software - the firm can train on this!Legal Assistant Compensation, Benefits, Perks:Salary range $25 to $32 hourly, 40-hour work week (2080 annual).
