A well-respected Robert Half client is seeking a Tax Manager to join the company. This position reports directly to the department head and will oversee the organization's tax planning and compliance with a focus on process improvement. This role will also play an integral part in strategic decisions regarding the company's financial future. The Tax Manager will have the opportunity to work both in our office and from their home, with a hybrid work schedule providing flexibility and balance.Your responsibilitiesManage the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns and ensure compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.Develop and implement strategic tax planning measures for all necessary federal and state taxes.Manage a team of tax professionals while developing and mentoring them.Oversee accurate, timely filing of extensions, and estimated tax payments.Cooperate with the management team to implement tax planning strategies and minimize tax liabilities for the company.Work with the auditing team to carry out tax audits.Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.Provide support during tax audits and negotiations with the tax authorities.
