We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely mannerAssist with month-end and year-end close processesPerform bank and account reconciliationsPrepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accountsAssist with financial reporting and analysisSupport the finance team with ad hoc projects as neededRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred2 years of experience in accounting or related fieldProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to prioritize and multitask effectively
