We are in search of a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The primary role of this position will be to handle a variety of financial tasks, including month-end closing activities, managing cash and accounts receivable, and performing bank and credit card reconciliations. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Manage QuickBooks Online and utilize it for various accounting tasks• Understand and work with company Financial Statements such as Balance Sheet, Statement of Activities, and Trial Balance• Handle month-end closing activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness• Perform Monthly Bank Reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records• Conduct Monthly Credit Card Reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for• Oversee Cash and Accounts Receivable management, ensuring all transactions are recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
