There's currently a permanent opportunity at Robert Half for a skilled Senior Accountant to join a dynamic, innovative team in the Scottsdale, Arizona area. As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. We are looking for someone who has excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the continued success of the firm.Key responsibilities- Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external- Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests- Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary- Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)- Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes- Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
