Our client, a leader in the real estate industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Project Accountant to join their team in NYC. As a Senior Project Accountant, you will be responsible for day-to-day project accounting activities and play a critical role in overseeing the financial aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. In this role, you will be tasked with preparing monthly equity and loan draw packages (AIA billings) for bank requisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in conducting general ledger review and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. As the Senior Project Accountant, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, in addition to providing support for overall accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
