Overview:As a Supply Chain Planning Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations by leveraging data analysis, forecasting techniques, and strategic planning methodologies. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around analyzing supply chain data, developing demand forecasts, optimizing inventory levels, and generating insightful reports to support decision-making processes.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis and Forecasting:Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to analyze historical sales data, demand patterns, and market trends.Develop accurate demand forecasts for various products and regions based on historical data, market intelligence, and business insights.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and refine forecasting models for improved accuracy.Inventory Optimization:Monitor inventory levels across the supply chain network to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.Identify opportunities for inventory optimization through demand segmentation, safety stock analysis, and lead time optimization.Work closely with procurement and production teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts and production schedules.Supply Chain Planning:Assist in the development and execution of supply chain planning strategies to meet customer demand while optimizing cost and efficiency.Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.Support the implementation of supply chain planning tools and systems to streamline processes and improve visibility.Reporting and Performance Metrics:Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics such as inventory turns, fill rates, and forecast accuracy.Analyze supply chain performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable insights to management.Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
