Description
We are offering an opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in ROCKFORD, Michigan. You will be responsible for providing second-level technical support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing databases, and using various technologies such as Citrix, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Active Directory. This role offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Provide second-level support to end users for various applications and hardware.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EO/IR systems and other computer hardware.
Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Utilize Citrix Technologies to manage and support virtualized applications and desktops.
Use Lotus Notes for email and calendar management, as well as other collaborative tasks.
Leverage Microsoft suite of products for various tasks, including using Active Directory for network user and access management.
Conduct Configuration Management to ensure system security and performance.
Provide Deskside Support to assist end-users directly with their technical issues.
Maintain and troubleshoot Desktop Hardware to ensure optimal performance.
Continually update technical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is required
Hands-on experience with Database management
Familiarity with EO/IR systems
Expertise in Lotus Notes usage
Profound knowledge of Microsoft software and applications
Prior experience with Active Directory
Ability to troubleshoot and repair Computer Hardware
Understanding and experience in Configuration Management
Experience in Deskside Support is a must
Expertise in Desktop Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
Must have prior experience in a metal fabrication industry
Previous role as a Help Desk Analyst or similar is preferred
Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
