This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

Laboratory Technical Aide, Kellogg Biological Station, Hickory Corners, MI

A part-time (29 hours/week) temporary research position is available at Michigan State University's Kellogg Biological Station. Projects deal with evolutionary genetics of plants; see jeffreykconner.com for details. Duties are primarily conducting and supporting experiments in the greenhouse, laboratory, and field, with opportunities for independent projects and substantial work from home. Minimum of $15/hour, higher depending on education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biological sciences and experience with ecological and evolutionary research in the greenhouse and field preferred.
