Our client in Pittsburgh is looking for a front desk host for a contract opportunity for 2 months or longer. This position will start on 5/8/24. This is completely onsite, 8AM - 5PM. This candidate will be in charge of front desk duties, parking validation and more. Pay $16-18. The main function of the role is to serve as the front desk host, however, please discuss with Kate that there are other responsibilities outside of manning the desk. This role is somewhat physical in nature and requires a moderate amount of walking, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, and stooping. She will need to be comfortable with lifting 25 to 30 lbs. and should expect to sometimes lift items such as cases of printer paper, beverages, snacks, and other office supplies, as well as place them onto a cart and move them to various locations throughout the building. Please make sure she understands this before committing to the role. In addition, the host is responsible for the following tasks, including but not limited to:• Monitoring the front desk and assisting guest with building access, check-in, and supplies as needed.• Issue and assist with managing guest badges.• Check-in and distribute mail and other packages.• Conference room resets and re-stocking.• Restocking copy areas with office supplies.• Catering Set up and clean up.• Beverage restocking and cooler maintenance.• Coffee brewer cleaning and condiment restocking.• Help with setting up occasional e-recycle events.• Help with storage cleanouts and storage re-orgs as needed.• Special projects as needed. (ie. Sitting at downtown office when needed, building moves, holiday decorations, etc.)
