Robert Half is working with a client in the Higher Education space that needs an Administrator to support multiple executives. This position entails overseeing day-to-day operations, including managing communication channels such as answering phones and emails, maintaining the office budget through planning, bill payment, and expense reconciliation, and supervising student workers. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining key files, updating the office website, and organizing various events and programs, such as monthly divisional meetings and annual division events. Moreover, they serve as the scribe for trustee committee meetings, ensuring accurate and timely minutes, and act as the clerk for the honor code council, managing documentation for conduct hearings. Interacting with students, parents, faculty, and staff, the candidate in this position serves as a liaison to key constituencies and committees within the college, fostering strong relationships and effective communication. They must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, maintaining confidentiality and providing a caring environment, particularly when interacting with individuals in distress. Possessing a high level of responsibility and reliability, a strong candidate exhibits strong critical thinking skills, proficiency with technology, and a willingness to take on new duties and responsibilities. They must also demonstrate initiative in responding to inquiries and requests for information, effectively referring constituents to resources across the college as needed.
